Our Mission
The HOPE INSTITUTE is a scientific, educational, literary, and charitable non-profit organization. We develop and offer state of the art resources, including evidenced-based questionnaires, projective tests, and coding systems to assess hope in children, adolescents, and adults as well as work environments and prisons.
We conduct hope-centered program development and evaluation. We consult with corporations to cultivate hope-centered leadership. We develop evidence-based hope-building workshops for adolescents and young adults.
We support the training and scholarship of hope scholars and practitioners worldwide using our integrative “MASS” approach to hope (mastery, attachment, survival, and spirituality). We encourage further applications of the MASS approach across disciplines.
We support collaborative hope research and exchange of ideas through symposia and conferences.
